When I began, there were not many senior leaders as role models. Every time I walked into a room I had to be dynamic. Women had to be visible, so I knew that meant I had to be out in the community, serving more, giving back and making sure that people knew who I was and what I stood for even outside of work. My reputation as a ‘leader’ was always important to me.
